Your own #evolution is personal and #unique to you; it isn’t linear i.e. A, B, C… but free flowing and often beyond the limitations of your mind to understand in any given moment.

So never assume you ‘know best’ for ANY other adult, nor try to control them for ‘their own good’.

Yes, it may 'seem' easier to see the dynamics and problems within other people’s lives and 'assume' a higher insight, but self assumed perceptions may just come from a place of arrogance.

After all, a detached perspective may recognise the cause or effects of another's problems, but without actually living their lives and walking in their shoes it cannot truly connect to the accumulated experiences of feeling, which colour each person's unique perceptions and awareness.

It is, within our own lives, that our responsibility truly lies. As the old saying goes, 'Physician heal thyself'.

So, allow others to breathe and make their own choices.

And don’t justify judgement, by packaging it as, ‘good intentions’.

And please don’t try to justify ambition as worthy, and that you’re only wanting to #advance so that you can help others?

Think how arrogant that sounds; I should know, ‘Been there, done that’.

My old #mantra was; “I just want to make a difference!” Yet, however passionately I felt, it wasn't focussed upon others or anchored in any particular way, other than as a motive to seek personal growth.

Remember, assumptions and expectations are limitations, so don’t let them hold you back.

Remember also, that ambition of any kind isn't a dirty word, as long as you are honest with yourself that it is a choice, but #fulfilment of #personal desires is not a #spiritual entitlement.

After all, who wants their journey ahead to be simple enough for our current mind’s level of understanding to comprehend and inspire.

I mean seriously how short a journey and small a step would that be.

WHAT YOU WANT, MAY NOT BE WHAT YOU NEED!
